We bring in the best and brightest so you can be the best and brightest.

At Fox Consulting, our collaborative team includes experts in areas of fundraising, communications, and organizational development.

Sue James / Sue has more than 20 years of experience in non-profit communications and fund-development writing. She has worked with a wide variety of  organizations to develop program strategies and submit grant proposals to foundations and public entities. Federal submissions have included the Departments of Labor, Education, Health/Human Services, Defense, Homeland Security, Veterans Affairs and Justice. In addition to developing proposals, Sue is also an experienced grant reviewer. She has evaluated grants for local, state and federal agencies, and created a grant RFP process for the Minnesota Partnership for Action Against Tobacco.

Sue works closely with clients throughout the grant proposal process, including development of the case for support, program strategies and evaluation measures. She is valued for her knowledge and experience, attention to detail, and ability to move an organization from concept to final product quickly and painlessly. Her goal for every client is to ensure a mission driven, high-quality, “fundable”, final product.
