Dennis Johnson / Dennis works with Fox Consulting to develop and implement individual fundraising strategies for clients and special projects. He has more than 40 years of experience in fundraising. As an ordained Pastor for twenty years, he led the annual stewardship emphasis in his congregations as well as capital campaigns. As Vice President for Church Relations and later as Vice President for College Relations at Gustavus Adolphus College in St. Peter, MN, Dennis participated in and later led college fundraising efforts, including major gifts cultivation, and oversaw the successful completion of a Kresge Challenge Grant. As interim president of the college, he provided the leadership for the successful completion of the capital campaign and mad many gift requests of individuals. In his role as Bishop’s Associate for the Minneapolis Area Synod, Dennis developed the strategic plan and led fundraising efforts to successfully raise $5 million in support for mission partners and outreach efforts. Dennis served on the Gustavus College Board of Trustees and led campaign fundraising efforts as President of the American Swedish Institute Board of Directors. He continues to serve on the Board of Directors for the Jordan New Life Hub, as Co-Chair of the Development Committee for the Friends of Libraries at the University of Minnesota, and as Chaplain for the Minnesota House of Representatives.
